Is there a fee to buyers to use the platform?

No. The platform is free to use by buyers. culturenut receives a fee for the transaction. The fee structure is determined when a seller lists an item for sale.

How do I pay for something if I want to purchase the item?

Once you click to buy now or your offer is accepted, culturenut will send you an invoice to be paid by ACH or with a credit card that may include a processing fee.

How exactly does the transaction work?

Buying: You agree to buy an item when you click buy now or your offer is accepted. culturenut serves as a marketplace to enable users to purchase items. Although culturenut may provide support with shipping, logistics, and payment details, once your payment is made, the seller is responsible for shipping your item. The transaction is between you and the seller.

Selling: The buyer has an option to pay full price for your listing or make an offer. You will be able to accept or decline offers through the website. Although culturenut may provide support with questions, shipping, logistics, and invoicing, the transaction is between the seller and the buyer. Once the buyer pays the invoice, the seller is responsible to ship the listing within 2 business days. When the buyer receives the item, culturenut will release payment to the seller, less the applicable fees, shipping, and other charges and amounts.

Is shipping included in the price

No. The shipping price is an additional charge.

How soon will I receive the item once it is purchased?

The seller is required to ship the item within 2 business days once payment is received. The shipment time will vary by your selected shipping method.

Can I see more detailed photos or videos of the item before purchasing?

Yes, if they are available. Send us an email at [email protected] with your inquiry.

Are taxes included in the list price?

No. Tax is added based on tax / VAT / tariff status. You are required to provide accurate tax and other information.

What should I do if the item is not as described?

Are all sales final or can I return an item if it is broken or malfunctions?

All sales are final.

Can I schedule a pick-up instead of shipping?

Yes, in some cases. Contact your selected shipping provider for pick-up services.

Can I track my shipment?

Yes, if available. Tracking information will be provided if available once shipped.

Are there warranties or guarantees for items or IPs?

No.

Can I buy directly from the seller without using culturenut?

Offering to buy or sell outside of culturenut is prohibited.

If I make an offer on an item, how long does the seller have to accept or decline my offer?

The seller has 72 (seventy-two) hours to accept or decline your offer.

How do I get paid when my listing sells?

culturenut will release applicable amounts to the seller once the buyer confirms receipt of goods, within 72 hours, unless funds are restricted by law or as otherwise deemed necessary by culturenut.

How long does it take to sell my item(s)?

Every item is unique, and the selling cycle varies.

If a buyer is not satisfied, how is that handled?

Send us an email at [email protected] with your concern,but per the Terms of Service, the buyer is purchasing on an “as is” and “buyer beware” basis.

Do I need to pay taxes on the items I sell and how is that managed?

Seller authorizes culturenut to collect and remit taxes on its behalf, provided however, the seller is and remains responsible for the collection and payment of all taxes or other charges related to the transaction and use of the Services, including all amounts incorrectly settled by culturenut.

Seller is required to provide information requested by culturenut, which may include, among other information, taxpayer identification number, business name, address, and bank account information.

Are international sales available?

International sales may be conducted on a case-by-case basis, and the transactions remain between the buyer and seller. Culturenut remains a marketplace, not a party to transactions. Sellers and buyers are responsible for ensuring the items and their transactions comply with applicable laws.

What if I don’t have the original specifications of my product?

It is okay if you do not have the original specifications; however, the more accurate information you provide increases the likelihood of a successful sale.

How does the platform handle returns and refunds?

All sales are final.

Do my items need to be boxed and/or crated?

Yes, your items need to be boxed and crated to ensure safe delivery to the buyer.

What shipping companies do you use?

United States Postal Office, UPS, Federal Express, DHL, and preferred international shipping companies. The buyer selects the shipper.

Is international shipping available?

Yes, international shipping may be available for certain transactions based on the terms set by the seller.

Who pays the tax, VAT, or customs fee on the purchase?

The buyer is responsible for paying the tax, VAT, or customs fee on the purchase.

Why shouldn’t I go directly through the seller and not the culturenut site?

We have created a global marketplace for buyers and sellers who otherwise would not have been brought together. Your signed Terms of Service outlines culturenut’s role as a marketplace in the buying and selling process.

How does the platform handle disputes between buyers and sellers?

We currently include all cultural and entertainment venues in our platform.

What is culturenut’s White Glove Service?

This service supports sellers in managing large-scale tasks, such as clearing out idle assets and storage facilities, and assessing items for resale potential. culturenut will provide a separate proposal for the White Glove Service, detailing costs based on time and expenses. Please note that the seller is responsible for any associated deaccession and/or landfill fees.
